Things happen in 3's, they just do. The same is holding true for our family. In 3 days, we have had a wedding, a death, and a birth. The wedding, which was 3 days ago was a great niece. The death, was a brother-in-law's father, and the new birth is a niece who had a baby girl this morning. The happy news is that the baby is a girl, Savannah Rae, weighed in at 7lbs and 11 oz and both the mother and the baby are doing well. This is the 35th child of that generation-we are not a small family.

Thank you. Savvanah will come home to sleep in one of the Snoo cradles that Jonathon and Klaudia had. They had 2 of them and rented them out after the girls were done with them, and 1 was sold, but this one was not. His cousin asked if they still had it and they gave it to her a month ago, along with a few other things that they needed for the baby.

@LadyDuck Thank you. From a parental point of view, they appreciate that the cradle runs on an app. They program it for the child's weight and age and if the child stirs too long, then it will rock the baby gently and eventually play a sound, either white noise or a lullaby, depending on the programming. They were costly to purchase, but they made their money back on them because many parents were not willing to spend that much on a cradle, although the girls were small enough to stay in them for almost a year.

That is a good weight, they usually consider a baby born over 8 pounds, that is full term, to be a big baby.

That really is the full circle of life happening all at once in your family. A wedding, a loss, and a new birth within just three days is a lot to take in emotionally. I’m glad to hear little Savannah Rae and her mom are both doing well—what a beautiful blessing for your family. With 35 kids in that generation, I can only imagine how lively and full of love family gatherings must be. Life surely has a way of balancing things out, even when it feels overwhelming.

Yes, that was what I was thinking also. It has been a circle of life week. The brother-in-law who lost his father suffered from cancer, and as difficult as it is to say, it is usually a blessing when they pass and no longer linger in the pain and suffering.

@Juliaacv losing a loved one is always painful of course but we all go through that it just hits us on different times.

Wow you aren't kidding when you say your family isn't small. How sweet that a new baby girl has arrived to bring more joy to your family.

Yes, it is a big crowd, but alot of fun. Some cannot believe that I have never been introduced to the groom from last weekend's wedding, but literally I have not. You have to do the rounds at gatherings and if you are doing them you may not greet everyone.
