On the table tonight

If you are human and you were at my table you had a really yummy salad with your choice of dressing. It had spinach, mixed baby greens, shredded red cabbage, diced onions, baby bella mushrooms and petite snacking tomatoes. Also blue cheese and sharp cheddar, roasted chicken and chopped ham. Bread pudding for dessert. If you are a cat, you were not at the table. You had your dry cat food and after wards some treats for "dessert." Plenty of fresh water in your dish, even though you prefer the rain water from the flower pots. If you were a humming bird you discovered my pot of impatiens, not five feet from the front door. You visited every fuschia colored flower and every coral pink flower until you were completely full. I hear you also like to catch the gnats and no seeums for protein. You probably also had hyacinth bean nectar, but I did not see it. We all have had plenty to eat.
