Trump ally Charlie Kirk has been shot

He is a conservative figure and the founder of Turning Point USA movement as well as a talk radio host. He was at an event on campus at Utah Valley University this afternoon when shots were fired. This is breaking news so it is unclear what the extent of his injury is. This article states that he supposedly was shot in the neck. I don't agree with Charlie Kirk's politics (or Trump's) at all but political violence is NEVER okay. Obviously there are no suspects yet as this *just* happened but it will be interesting to learn details about the shooter if/when the person is apprehended.

That is scary. I hope they catch the perpetrator and that Charlie Kirk recovers. I mean, don’t freaking shoot the guy if you disagree.

There is never an excuse to shoot a person just because you don't agree with his political viewpoint.

This is just wrong. Regardless of whether or not you agree with what side he's on, or what he says, this is not the answer. I did read that his wife and two young children were there at the event to hear him speak. How terrible for them!
