Teresa Sanderson who resides in Newington Connecticut was amazed that a bear managed to take some relax time inside of her swimming pool on Monday August 11 when she used her video camera to film the bear swimming for a short period of time before the bear decided to get out of her swimming pool and leave unharmed.
Officials with the Connecticut Department Of Energy have reported that about 51 bear sightings in Newington this year.
My belief is that the bear needed to take a break from the hot weather that day.

I would also be amazed if I saw a cub in a swimming pool.

Wow! Connecticut is heavy with bears this year. Even bears need to cool off.

@Deepizzaguy ........I have also. I wonder if they are losing their habitat like so many other animals are.

That bear must have been good at jumping over fences too, unless some careless person left the gate opened, leading to the pool. I hope the bear didn't smell the pool up too much, although, I do believe that bears are relatively clean critters too.

The bear likely jumped a fence to enter the swimming pool.
