So last week I posted that to use some of the apples that we have from our tree, and in a bid to lose weight. I had found a recipe for pork and apple burger.
We …..mainly Mom ….made four burgers last week and popped them in the freezer.
Today when we were shopping we bought some bread baps and for my tea this evening I gad the first of the burgers, with some light mayo and sliced cucumber.
Oh my days ….food that is good for you and delicious ….that doesn’t happen every day.
So it was a big thumbs up from me and I will definitely be making more …. I can see it’s going to be a firm favourite.
What was your tea today ?

We have breakfast then lunch then tea
Or
Some people say …..
Breakfast then dinner then tea.
Or
Sone other people say ….
Breakfast then lunch then dinner.
In the UK depending on where you live etc the mid day meal is either lunch or dinner
The evening meal is then either tea or dinner.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I haven't had anything to eat since breakfast at 5:30 am... I think I've decided on making burgers for late lunch after while, too. Mine will have diced onions and garlic powder mixed with the meat. That's always good!

I may put a little garlic powder in next time and may have fried onions on top …..just a few.
I’m pleased I didn’t put as much salt in as the recipe said ….it definitely didn’t need it …and I’m not a great fan of salt.

@Traceyjayne I try to go easy on salt but if I don't put any in while frying them, they don't taste right to me.

We had crumbed chicken last night and it will be fish and chips at the clubhouse tonight.
