Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 73 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is a beautiful day out there! I'm done with work for the day and back here with the cat crew. I actually got out a bit early today. The students were dismissed from the arena at 1:25 (10 minutes early) and I just sailed out the door with them. I was far from the only teacher to do that. I made a lemon pound cake for one of the assistant principals for yesterday because it was her birthday. She took half of it home and left the other half in the office kitchen for others to enjoy. A safety officer and the building principal both told me that they loved it. She told me she wants me to do bagel bombs next. I need to clear out space in my freezer before I can do those because you have to freeze the bagel plugs. The cleaning lady was here and gone by the time I got here so the apartment is nice and clean. I ordered groceries this morning and they were delivered shortly after I arrived. And maintenance still never showed up. I remembered to look over at the rental office when I was pulling in and the manager isn't there. There has been no answer since Tuesday. I don't understand how she can be off for 3 days and there is no one there doing her job. So now I'm going to go through the weekend with a dishwasher that sort of cleans the stuff on the bottom rack. (forget about the top rack) No big plans for the afternoon/evening. I am trying a new recipe for dinner. We'll see how that turns out. I also have a baking project I want to do but that might wait until tomorrow. It depends on when my motivation runs out. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
