The Grandson has made cookies

So the Grandkids arrived earlier and as soon as they came through the door the ( 13 year old ) Grandson said “ I’ve made cookies….do you want a cookie “?
Well, we had just eaten and were still stuffed so we said we would have them for supper.
They were plain cookies and white chocolate chip cookies.
Oh my days, we have just eaten them …..flippin’ delicious.
It was a surprise as we didn’t know he was going to bring them.
I quizzed him as to the ingredients and method to make them ….yes, he knew all the relevant info.
I’m so proud of him.
He has made things for us before and everything has been amazing. At least if he carries on i know he will always be able to feed himself.

That is just wonderful! What a thoughtful surprise from your grandson, and at only 13 too. Plain and white chocolate chip cookies sound delicious, and even better when they’re made with love. It’s impressive that he not only baked them but also knew the ingredients and method so well – that shows he’s really paying attention and learning. You have every right to be proud of him. Cooking and baking are such valuable life skills, and it sounds like he already has a real knack for it. If he keeps this up, he’ll definitely always be able to feed himself, and maybe even others too!

Very nice! Usually, grandkids go to grandma's house to get homemade cookies and treats...
I hope he continues to cook. It's a good skill for any man to have.

I am not close to my grandma but she usually gave me money lol! Or force me to have a haircut, hahahaha.
Grown ups usually give me something to eat... I am not like your grandson growing up, you are blessed to have him. God bless.
