Saturday!

Yes, keep popping!! LOL. I had a busy week. Energy is returning a bit and I've been trying to catch up on things. Making a little progress! Yay! Game almost over. Neither team should be proud of how they played. I heard there was a lot of fighting between the two team before the game and this kept the tempers flaring all through the game. So many penalties!

@moffittjc I think our coach is finally settling in here. People are warming up to him after the season opening win. I really got a kick out of the news conference right after the LSU-FL game where he put the Sports Director of one of the BR television stations in his place for asking stupid questions. Search Brian Kelly news conference and you should find it. I'm sorry ya'll lost your match. Do you have another tournament coming up soon?

@kareng We lost in the quarter finals this morning in a very tight and close match. So frustrating. I'm going to stick around and watch the finals this afternoon before flying back to Florida. I have to work early tomorrow morning, I should have taken Monday off! lol I was watching pieces of the game in between paintball team meetings and study sessions last night, so I didn't get to see any of the pre-game hostilities, but I do know that these two teams have been tough rivalries for decades, so I'm sure there is no love loss when they play each other. I don't think the Gators stand a chance in hell of having a winning season this year, so I hope the Tigers do much better!

We had a super slow day. There was another event in town that got the biggest draw of people. Hope this next weekend will be better.

That didn't happen at that market. I'm doing a big event this coming Friday and Saturday that should have good sales. They have a lot going on!!

Market was slow. There was another event in town that drew the people over that way. We still enjoyed ourselves and had fun. And, I got the best tasting tomatoes ever!! OMG! SO GOOD!

@1creekgirl I didn't get a garden with the 9 week rash, followed by swelling and then high blood pressure issues.

@kareng oh my, those tomatoes sound yummy. We didn't get any good ones in our garden this year.

Our little chill didn't last either. Back in the 90's here.

@annierose I hope so. The bldg is not air conditioned and that takes a toll after unloading and setting up and then repacking and loading it all.

Market today was very slow because they had another even in town and we lost a lot of shoppers due to that. Some came over from that event, but not very many. We still enjoyed ourselves.

@kareng But hey, at least you still got to enjoy yourselves and show off your market goodies. I’m sure the next market day will be packed and even more fun

This one was a bummer. They had another event in town that took a big flow of our people away. It's too bad organizations can't coordinate events!

@JudyEv Yep and with some coordination they both could have had stand alone days. Our days are published on the Facebook page. They could have chosen 2 other weekends.

My bargain was a bag of the best home grown tomatoes I think I've ever had. Definitely had in the last 10 years. They are SO good! I just had a tomato sandwich for lunch. I hope you managed to get all of that paperwork done! Seems like they lose half of the stuff you give them these days. Same here, hot and dry. I noticed last night that 2 parishes in Louisiana have burn bans out now. I'm sure we will get one soon. Yesterday it rained all around us again. It stopped right down the hill from us. Go figure!

@kareng The excitement here about the weather is that it MIGHT actually rain Saturday or Sunday. I sure do hope so! Everything is dying and the grass is crunchy.

@MarieCoyle Same here, grass is turning yellow and dying. We did get almost 30 minutes of med. to heavy rain yesterday out of the blue. No rain in the forecast!! Crazy just like the weather of late! I am hoping for another good downpour soon!

Nope, slow. Another event pulled our people away. But it's okay. We still had fun with our regular gang/vendors.
