I disappeared not on my own will.

I had disappeared for nearly 2 weeks. I had overtime for the work that I am currently doing. Still no news on the other company when they will release a headcount. I had to wait. 1. I had a lot of overtime and despite of that, my work still could not be cleared. I was faced with many queries as I did not have a way to resolve things. I turned to the specific departments who decided to push the information back to me. There were some loud disagreement and some nasty words were used. My department head seem to be avoiding me over the extended period of time. it was as if he was there to make me the scapegoat should the project fail. 2.It was on last Thursday that my Endocrine Specialist decided the Hormone replacement pill which I am taking every day was too strong. He decided to reduce my dosage by a little and see what happen from there. I will see him in 3 months time. 3. After my father's cancer treatment which spend about $80,000 through insurance, we are due for the insurance renewal. We are to pay for $13,000 in total for the medical insurance. That translate to $4,500 per person. It is around $380 per month to be paid to the insurer. Tough but we will have to pay the money. 4. I will continue to be busy with my job. I can only come in once awhile till the projects are over. Or I get fired. Whichever that comes first.

@LindaOHio Not mental challenges but mental fatigue. Almost on overtime everyday.

He is doing really well, going everywhere after the specialist visit and be a couch potato watching youtube when he is home.

Welcome back, I am so sorry you had several different problems. I hope the replacement pill will work better for you. I wish all the best to your father. Health Insurance was very expensive in Switzerland.

@LadyDuck Oh yes, I think it is starting to take effect. Hopefully the effect will linger.

Thank you for coming over, Health Insurances tend to be expensive everywhere. The pill will take sometime to take effect,

@id_peace - The important is that the pill works, even if it takes sometime.

That is a lot of money but yeah, bills have to be paid. I hope your dad is doing better now. I hope the medicine change works for you. I had to call my doctor about a med change for my thyroid problems last week. I needed an increase in the medication. It always makes it harder to do your job when you can't get all the information you need and others withhold it from you. A boss should be available when you need them... I hope your boss isn't setting you up to take the blame for anything. Can you go over your direct boss's head to his boss for the answers/help you need? You're fine here. Whenever you have time and can come here is okay. We'll always talk with you and listen if you need to talk.

It is a lot of money but I guess it is worthwhile. My boss does not care, if I am going to the boss head, that will be group CEO.

@id_peace Your boss should care, though. You're a productive member of his team. If he really doesn't care, then he's not running his department right and somebody needs to go over his head and tell the CEO about the problems.

Wow, you’ve really had a lot on your plate these past couple of weeks. I really hope things at work ease up soon and that you don’t end up carrying all the blame. How are you managing to cope with everything?

Mentally I am probably like a forgetful mad scientist, having to do a lot of things all at once.
