It's currently 60-something degrees Fahrenheit at 9 am and will be a high today of 90F.
These past two weeks it's been pleasant in the 60's and 70's. I thought Autumn was ushering in.
But perhaps a last minute hot spell before it turns to Fall.
What's your weather doing?

Believe it or not, yesterday was the anniversary of the last 100-degree day in Louisville (it hit 100 in 1897). We had two 97-degree days to start October, 2019. I remember one year we played the course finals in November in shorts (the Sunday before Thanksgiving, no less!). I’ll take 90 over 10 (or 10 below) any day.

I live in Southern Missouri and it has been unseasonably hot here for the last two weeks. We have a day or two of nice weather and then the temps spike up into the mid-90s again. This week is supposed to be a little cooler with rain predicted every day. I hope we get some. Everything is too dry here.
The Weather Channel is showing 90F plus today, Tuesday and Wednesday before the high drops to the mid-80s.

The way it was reported here is that the cooler temperatures we were getting, in what they were calling a "Fall Preview," were abnormally low. Our temperatures were supposed to be much warmer for this time of year. The heat is back, and back to normal.
