Firefighters rescue a man who was stuck in a mountain

A man who was involved in a paragliding accident in Dunlap Tennessee on Thursday September 11 needed to be rescued by firefighters from Dunlap Fire Department when the man was stuck 40 feet down the mountain. The firefighters with the help of the Piney Volunteer Department used a haul system to rescue the injured man with a basket at Lewis Chapel Mountain and take the man who is a retired firefighter who chose to take himself to a local hospital to be treated for injuries in the incident. I read they’re thinking about charging people for using important resources for things that are their own fault. I’m not saying they will, but it’s an interesting thought.

That is a good idea since rescue missions do cause problems on false alarms.

It was good he was rescued, but paragliders need to be more careful, and not so brazen where they jump off from.
