Cat rescued by state police in New Jersey when he was found on a highway

New Jersey State Police officers answered an emergency call about a male cat that was seen on State Highway 280 on Wednesday August 13.
The state police officer rescued the male cat who goes by the name Conan was picked by officials at Paterson Animal Control who then sent the cat to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge where veterinarians found that the cat suffered an injury over his eye after the cat was located next to traffic on the highway.
The animal refuge officials are hoping that Conan gets adopted soon.

It was good the cat was not more badly injured, as being on a major highway is a recipe for disaster.
