Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 64 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 85. Woohoo! 
It is Friday. TGIF! (though sadly not payday) I have to finish up some lecture and then the students will be working independently. I need to finish dealing with the tests they took the other day. I'm having a tough time getting into the groove this year now that I'm moving from room to room.
I'm happy to report that I'm not sore from yesterday's deep tissue massage. The guy used a lot of pressure which I was fine with but I expected to be sore today. So far so good. I'm surprised!
No big plans for the afternoon after work. I'm going to order some groceries to be delivered. I'm going to try a new recipe for dinner. Otherwise same old same old hanging out with the cat crew.

I was going to ask you how long does the soreness last from a deep tissue massage. I wondered if I could get one on the cruise, but I didn’t want to be sore the whole trip. I could get one near the end of the cruise which might make it better…

My neck and traps are sore today but it isn't anything crazy. I notice it if I touch them but not just going through the day. Those are areas I told the therapist were bothering me so he put some extra time and pressure into them. Nothing else is sore today.

Taking it easy. I got domesticated yesterday, so I have to recover today. I’ve folded my sheet, and when I get home I’ll fold the rest of the laundry.

Good morning... It is 62F in my part of Missouri this morning and VERY foggy here. Our high for today is supposed to be 83F which will be nice, I'm sure.
I wondered if you'd have bruises from the deep tissue massage. I've always heard those described as very rough treatment. I would bruise from something like that. (I show bruises if I bump into things.)
The only thing we're planning to do today is to go shopping at the new-to-us grocery store since they have another sale going today. We really don't need anything but will go and pick up their sale items and then get $10 off with a purchase of $50 of groceries.
I hope you find yourself getting into a new groove this year. Enjoy your day at work.

No big plans here for the weekend. My daughter and son in law may come over tomorrow and bring their dog...that dog is so smart and we all love her so much. My daughter sent me a video right before we stopped by their home last week on the way home...she was talking to the dog, and said ''Grandma is coming over! Grandma is coming!'' and the dog knows I am referred to being Grandma, and flips out when anyone says it. she barks and yips and runs in circles and waits by the door for me to get there. It's just hilarious. She loves my other children, too. Such a fun an loving pet.
