Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 68 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 73. That's a big difference from it being 85 yesterday.
I hate the end of summer!
I woke up this morning at 5:30 because that's when the alarm usually goes off. It was nice to remember that today is Saturday and I didn't have to rush to get ready for work. Still I was awake so I just got up. I'm sure I'll go back to bed for a nap later.
I don't have plans to go anywhere today. I have a long list of kitchen projects for the upcoming days so I'll get to work on those. I also have to feed the sourdough starter. I need to put washer fluid in my go-kart (car) but that will likely be a hot mess resulting in a meltdown. My ex was like "I've shown you how to do it several times". I replied "yes but once a year so it isn't like I remember it!"
Those are my big plans for today. I live an exciting life I know. What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning.
It is a few degrees cooler here this morning.
It feels refreshing.
I have to get a few groceries this morning.
Later on we might try to take advantage of the nice weather and go to a conservation area for a trail walk. We will see, my husband thinks it is 'cold' already and has a zippered hoodie on over his t-shirt, we have had cooler mornings in the past month.

@DaddyEvil I agree with her to a certain extent that below 21 is cool, but you just have to adjust.
This morning there was a cool breeze when I went to the grocery store, so I just put a little throw on over my top and I was fine. I still have the a/c on in the truck, I don't like driving with the windows open as there is just so much traffic in this big city that the noise is just too distracting.

Pretty claims anything below 70F/21C is "cold" and puts on a winter coat. I'm still wearing jean shorts, tank top and sandals until we get below 50F/10C and will then slip on long jeans, a regular tee shirt and real tennis shoes.

Going up North to see my son. He isn't wanting to come down here so I am bringing him some projects. Putting washer fluid in is probably the easiest thing you can do on a car. It should be marked where to do it worst case scenario there is the owners manual or youtube.

Good morning... It is 63F in my part of Missouri this morning. Our high might reach 75F today, depending on the rain/storms that are supposed to start in a few more minutes and last all day. (The forecast is predicting over an inch of rain total for today. We need it.)
Pretty and I may sneak out between storms and go to the new grocery store today. We don't need anything but this is their second big sale for this month and we have a coupon for $10 off of a $50 purchase We had planned to go yesterday but my vision was too blurry for me to be comfortable driving. We'll see if we make it there today.
You might as well come over and go shopping with us.
I hope you have a fun day. (Washer fluid isn't difficult. I'm sure you'll have no problems with it.

I can handle filling it but getting the hood up is a different matter. You should have seen me trying to put new windshield wipers on last year. My ex came to help me and was horrified at how distraught I was. I don't do car things. That is a boy job.

@NJChicaa Oh, I see... Pretty can't get the hood open on our car. I showed her exactly how to do it but she doesn't do it often enough (or even watch me do it) so that she remembers how to get it open. Once it's open, she can check the oil, the radiator and the windshield washer fluid but that's the extent of her car knowledge.
I need to change windshield wipers one of these days and should show her how to do that, too. I have to look at them before changing them. That's a job I only do every few years. (I bought new windshield wipers and stuck them in the trunk until I get around to making the change.)
