Tractor trailer accident in New Jersey spills candy on a highway

Firefighters from the Knowlton Township and Rescue Company answered an emergency call from concerned residents on Tuesday September 16 when a tractor trailer was traveling on Interstate 80 west hit another tractor trailer from behind while the second tractor trailer was on parked on the shoulder of the interstate.
One of tractor trailers spilled M & M chocolate candy on the interstate which caused part of the interstate to close for two hours until the mess was cleaned up.
There were no injuries in the accident and both drivers insisted that they did not need to be taken by an ambulance by Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

At least the candy seems to be in boxes, so could probably be salvaged, although it looks like to be a large job to pick all of those boxes up by hand.
