A cat that survived a fall from a canyon finds a new home in Utah

Chelsea Tugaw who is a pilot employed by the Utah Department Safety in Utah was flying search and rescue mission near Bryce Canyon National Park around late May saw a backpack that had a cat inside that suffered broken teeth and a few broken teeth as a result of an accident when park goers found two people who died below the Inspiration Point spires.
Chelsea received permission from the family of the deceased to adopt the cat who answers to the name Mirage after the cat was taken to the Best Friends Animal Society to be treated for the injuries to Mirage.
Chelsea has adopted Mirage as her pet so that Mirage can live the rest of his life with Chelsea since the cat is a senior citizen.
