I hope everyone is having a great day today. I am changing my auto insurance provider today. I think they have all my info. I just have to activate the policy. It will save me about 120 per year for the same coverage. You know what they say, a penny saved is a penny earned. Also, I will get my flu shot. I was thinking of getting a haircut today in the bigger town, but I got a coupon in my email for Great Clips, so I will use that when I get an opportunity. Haircuts have gotten so expensive, along with everything else. Anything planned for today?

We mightt have a day like that tomorrow. I am not sure. I was just sitting here thinking a minute ago that maybe I should make that two ingredient spice cake tommorrow. I think I will turn them into cupcakes though.

@snowy22315 I baked a sponge cake, prepared a filling with whipped cream and mascarpone, I know that my husband likes it.

You really should. I saved a 1000 dollars on my homeowners last year. I did have to pay a little bit to have some branches over the roof removed in case they were going to make an issue of that, but I don't think they even physically looked at the property, if they did, I didn't know about it.

You found a great savings, that can be put towards your maintenance for the year.
I hear you about haircuts being expensive, my girl charges $35 but I always give her $50, but I always hope that she doesn't raise her prices anymore because we are already into nose bleed territory given how my hair isn't long.

Yes, going to a beauty parlor can cost a pretty penny. My husband started cutting mine a good many years back.

My sister has always cut her boys hair. She might still do that with the older one. The one who lives in Chicago isn't close enough for her to cut his hair. I think her hubby gets his cut elsewhere.

We just changed our car insurance too and saving quite a bit. Everything is so expensive it's nice to be able to find something less expensive.
Nothing much happening here. Just some little things to do and hoping my enthusiasm for starting fall cleaning lasts

Tomorrow I go to a lawyer to get my will redone. I will be getting my flu shot when I go to my PCP in October.
