Opened up an email from HULU today. They are going up $25 it says. I already pay over $80 for Live TV. So they are going to be losing a customer. I do not care to watch Disney or Paramount...and THAT is what is causing the bill to go up. I only watch MAYBE 5 channels...ABC, Fox News, Charge TV, Hallmark Mysteries, and TNT. I can subscribe to Fox Nation and see my shows, and some of them I can see on YouTube. Thinking about going to SLING, but wouldn't be any cheaper, as Tom wants the SEC channel for Football. Thinking about calling Xfinity and seeing what kind of deal I can get with them for Cable...has to be cheaper than $200 which is about what I WILL be paying for Internet and HULU. People have been going to Steaming because it is cheaper than Cable, but HULU and a couple of other streaming services have become Greedy...Time to maybe go back to Cable.

Oh, no. Well, I’ll be canceling Hulu too. Thank you for telling me that. These streaming services are just as greedy as cable now.

I can relate to what you are going through that prices of streaming services is just as high as having cable television.

That's how it goes you get use to watching a certain tv channel or a station & they want to boost the cost for watching it, We flipped over to internet & a smart tv to watch tv & well with our internet comp by doing that we went from a 2-300$ bill every month to a 100$ a month & we get a lot of channels.

We can get a LOT of channels for free or less than $10 a month for SOME, but in order to watch shows we like..we have to pay more.

@Ghostlady that really sucks, if you can get free you tube that's what I'd stick with & cancel all the paying channels, I got me a roku base tv & had my phone comp help me to set it up where I can get all the free channels they have & you tube is the main 1 I watch.

This is all pretty much double Dutch to me but only because we don't subscribe to any channels and don't watch TV much at all. I hope you find an economical way to watch your shows.

I have said it time and time again...we were winning when pulling the plug first became a thing, but in the end THEY will win. If we let them, of course. But NOT letting them might be out of the question, because THEY control the "airwaves," so, eventually we're going to be paying as much for streaming as we were paying for cable, if not more. It's just a matter of time until they have us all by the balls again.
