Good morning myLotters. 
I am on my lunch from work currently.
I just had a cool zoom meeting. Another co-worker was in the meeting with me. She had alot of questions before it started, and when we got into the zoom meeting, and they began to play music, I suggested to her that it probably wasn't the meeting that we were lead to believe it was. It turned out it was an award ceremony.
And she and I both received quarterly awards for our achievements.
It includes half a day off with pay and 500 appreciation points, which we can bank or cash in for gift cards. It would be the equivalent to $500 worth of gift cards.
I was so happy that I was really teary eyed during the meeting and could hardly thank my manager for the nod.

@JordanLader The reason for the gift cards is to keep it under the radar as far as the tax man is concerned, there will be a cash bonus in January-just when most of us need it.

@AmbiePam My manager had a feeling that I knew what was going on as soon as I joined the meeting, I've received this award in the past, but the other worker has been gunning for it for quite a long time. I was so pleased with her that she got it. And it is all based on our stats and the (dumb) customer service surveys that they send out after they call us.

I had a co-worker, who was so worried and nervous, messaging me during the start of the meeting.
I suggested to her that it wasn't for what the slide show as saying, and to be open to hearing a surprise.
She was so happy that she received the award that I did, which was amazing, she looks up to me, and I to her professionally. It was such a happy coincidence.

Well thank you.
I do much better working from home because I have no distractions and can totally immerse myself in what I am doing.
In January they give me the direct deposit for the cash bonus for this, as well my annual increase will be sweeter for 2026's pay deposits. I like that.

Ohhh, that is fantastic! It seems they really do appreciate your work. When you go to retire they will probably beg you to stay..at least a day or two a week.
