A new exercise

I will have National holiday for 8 days and that's great. We don't plan to have a travel and peaceful vacation will be fine for me. I found there is a new exercise called the pickleball and it combines tennis, badminton and ping pong. It's not expensive to buy the racket and ball. It's easy to play it and the exercise is easier than tennis and badminton. It suits many kinds of people. So I will buy a set of pickleballs and play it with my husband during the holiday

They say the pickleball was named after a dog called pickle and the award is a pot of pickle.

You are right. How interesting it is! How is your grand daughter now? My son will continue his study after bachelor degree next year. And if everything is good, he will finish his doctor degree after 5 years. That's quite a long time...

@youless I understand maybe they can still play it when you ask them too. But I bet they are busy with other things now.

I also like badminton. In recent years the badminton ball price has increased quite a lot. Besides it's better to play it indoor and namely we have to book the badminton courts. This is why there can be some limitations.

@rakski That sounds great! I don't think we have the pickleball courts here. It's fine to book badminton, ping pong and tennis courts but pickleball is just so new and people need more time to know it.

We had a good time playing the pickleball, but I took a break for over a week since I felt my waist was not very comfortable. I shall play it again when I am back to normal. It seems I am growing old

There is a pickleball court not far from our house and we often hear people playing and laughing. It sounds a fun game.
