Police rescue a dog that was on train tracks

Thanks to the actions of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Police when a Metro-North tracks in Dutchess County when a dog was seen on the train tracks near the Beacon Station on Thursday September 18.
The teamwork from the train crew, the police and employees of the Operations Control Center, the dog was removed from the train tracks and safely reunited with his owner the same day.
How did the dog wind up in the train tracks is not known at this time.

Obviously not trained not to go on train tracks, where it can be very dangerous for dogs, and other animals.

Thank goodness these people are keeping an eye out. Obviously, owners aren't.
