I'm glad to be inside in a dry house

You just can't hide. The computer posts it is going to rain and you bet, it rains. Autumn is here at my house today. Heavy rain at times and gusting wind. Today was kitty Beau Teak's next time to have fluid taken from his chest. It went differently today- Vet helper said I should go home after the Vet examined him cause it would be a few hours before they did anything. So I had a split day. Its about a fifteen minute drive to the Vet but not on the highway. I am grateful for that. Beau gained about four ounces- a good sign. About 4 I called and told the clinic that I was heading over. I took Rufus with me for company. He was good and patiently waited with me in the lobby for Beau. Vet clinics can be so slow. I figured he needed the social time. He sat nicely by me though he for sure was nervous and not sleeping. I had falafa mix soaking at home but by the time I again got home I did not want to mess with making it into balls and waiting for it to bake. I scrambled two eggs with milk and nutritional yeast, fried that up, toasted bread and buttered that and cooked some cauliflower from the freezer. Supper and glad of it!! Beau had more fluid in his chest than last time. Right now he is curled up on the bathroom's heated floor, snoozing. I hope he perks up soon. He is such a good boy.
