First day of damage control due to said wreck.I decided Rebels idea about talking to a lawyer is probably not a bad idea as long as I can find a cheap one. Legal Aid which I should qualify for would probably be my best bet. I have a call into one office and will call the other one when their phone lines open. In addition, I will have a local garage take a look at it to see if the whole bumper needs to be replaced or if it can be clipped on or something. I am also looking at a bumper and headlamp assembly from a local salvage place. I am going to try to get this whole situation taken care of with as little money from me as possible.

I don't "Need" a lawyer, but they could possibly get me out of the ticket.

The best thing would be if I don't get convicted, won't go on my record, wouldn't have to pay any money etc. no raise in insurance rates.

They didn't have the bumper at the salvage yards I called, but that doesn't mean they won't down the road.

What a headache. Hope you can find the parts you need at a reasonable price and get the car fixed without having to pay an exorbitant amount.
