Well, I am happy that this car may not cost as much as I was expecting. I sent pics to a local body shop and he said he could probably fix it for around 500. I was expecting more like 1000 or more..but he seems to think it just needs a mount under the headlight and the light repaired of course. Of course that whole section of bumper is loose and damaged..but maybe he can use clips on it or something. I can't afford to get this done for a couple of weeks though. He wants to look at it, but I would have to make arrangements. This guy seems reasonable. Maybe I will just ask him to schedule me in in the coming weeks. I don't think I am going to do any better price wise.

Or close to it.I would hate like heck to put anything on the credit card. That's against my religion.

It is still a chunk of money that you did not plan on, but I am glad it is more reasonable than you thought.

Yes, this whole thing is a long freaking haul, but I will feelbetter once my car is fixed. Such as it is anyway.

Thanks, in the meantime I am not supposed to be driving..so I guess I will be saving money on gas.
