A great idea for a gift

My deceased dad was amazing in many ways. But when my sister and I were high school aged he would always ask us "what's the number 1 rule?" before we went out. The answer was "HAVE FUN!" It wasn't don't get arrested, don't drink and drive, don't have sex. . . it was just "have fun". That sums him up. He knew we were good kids and would do the right thing but he always wanted us to have fun.
MyIntent sells bracelets, necklaces, and basically just washers that have your goal stamped on them. My sister gave me one last year that said "have fun". I put it on and never took it off. Then it was mangled by a caramel making experiment. I had to toss it but ordered a new one.
It really is a cool gift for others or youself. I smile every time I look at it.

My dad was more like, if you get arrested, get comfortable, because I’m not coming to bail you out.

Although I don’t like wearing anything around my neck. If I did, I’d probably have something like yours, but change the words to “HAD FUN”

Talking of “sweets”
The necklace thing reminds me of Love Hearts made by Swizzels. They had words like “Be Mine” and “Love You”
The modern ones have words like “Text Me” or “LOL”.
Maybe I’m old fashioned, but I prefer the older ones. Not that I eat them anymore, as they are almost pure sugar, with added crap, and my teeth (what’s left of them) would complain. At least that’s what I tell my dentist.

My parents never told me not to do anything; but when they found out I did, they were furious. I love the "have fun" goal. Your dad was amazing.
