Martín just called me and announced a visit with his girl friend for tea time. So I´ll have to get up even if it is raining and cold.
I have been having visits from a lot of friends lately and several have taken me out for lunch. The only one that does not answer calls is my eldest granddaughter. I´m beginning to get angry as I have had to postpone some visitors and then she decides not to come. 
But now I have this darling boy that I have adopted. Yesterday Lili invited his parents and me for lunch and she said that she´d love to have a couple of beautiful sofas I have when I go to a smaller place. I told her that Martín was first on the list and everyone laughed. I prefer to give away my things to people I love than to sell them for a couple of cents to someone I don´t know.

Do you own a shawl? It's rather rude to postpone visits when you have made such allowances. I think you should give your things to people who will appreciate them.

Not yet. I dread the time when I will have to leave this house...but it will come some time. I'm glad you are having a lot of visits from friends.

I have moved at least 20 if not more times in my life and lost every blessed thing I ever had, due to circumstance. I often gave others my whole place. Yes big and small and in between size places.
I am sorry that your granddaughter does this Marguicha.
