I just got out of the tub and gave George a second tube feeding. We bought a head of letice today which I'll have to wash off, and he might want to do something with it. Honestly, I'm glad to see him taking an interest in different kinds of foods, because he needs it. But, it's been a long process that will be a life-long thing. I take any progress as it comes.

Maybe he will have a good idea as to what to do with the lettuce.

He ate a small handful last night. Then used the bathroom an hour later, but then again I expected that.

That I do. I'm a realist. He'll never eat enough colories on his own. It's part of what contributed to the stroke, I'm sure of it. The doctors never said of course, but I know how weight works. I know what it can do to the heart.

@MarieCoyle He will complain from time to time, and want to skip a feeding, but I won't relent. He doesn't realize they're a lifeline, because his eating habbits have always been bad. When he's in the hospital, he might eat three times a day, but at home he usually wants food two hours before bed. Which lately, has been around 2 AM.
