An employee of the fast-food restaurant In-N-Out Burger saw a python on the drive through on Monday September 29 in Monrovia California.
The employee then decided to take the python from the restaurant drive through to an animal shelter where the employees at Pasadena Humane took care of the python who is in good condition,
The employees at Pasadena Humane mentioned that the python most likely fled from his or her home recently.
The Pasadena Humane employees are keeping the python in the facility until the owner of the python contacts them to see if the python can return to its owner or kept in the shelter.

You have a good point there about the python wanting a meal.

@Deepizzaguy - Even when I see one that I know is not poisonous, I get scared.

@Deepizzaguy - Same as you, I see every snake as a potential killing weapon.

That is what I was thinking since I would not handle a snake either with my bare hands.

@nela13 Same with me running away from a snake and would avoid killing one unless it is in self defense.

That is true since pythons are dangerous pets to have.

Now that's a surprise you don't want with your burger and fries!
Good on the employee for handling it so calmly and getting the python to safety. Hope it finds its way back home.

At least it’s safe. My cousins son breeds snakes …..personally I don’t see the appeal.

I wonder how the employee managed to safely catch that snake then transport it in his car to an animal shelter. He must have had a large empty burger box, or something, to place it in too.

That is what I am thinking since handling a snake and traveling with one is dangerous.

Snakes are not my favorite creatures. I don't understand how anyone can keep snakes as pets but hey...just don't bring them over here for a visit!

@Deepizzaguy
I have never cared for snakes. When I lived in the country I would occasionally see one, most often a garter snake, but they always zoom away from people as soon as they can.
