Police dog rescues 2 children that were lost in a national forest

Brown County Sheriff's Office are grateful that their K 9 dog named Knox assisted his handler Deputy Cody Loncaric as well as the rescue team find two 11 year old children who became separated from their mother and were seen in Hoosier National Forest on Sunday October 5. Knox did point to the first responders the location of the two children who were in the area of Sundance Lake. The children were reunited with their mom the same day safe and sound thanks t the work of Knox, his owner and members of the rescue team. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/cri...

@Deepizzaguy it's a different world, Someone always kept an eagle eye out on me and I lived in fifth floor apartment and never fell out of windows etc,

Very lucky that the kids are found on the same day. Search and rescue do not generally found the people within the same days.

If kids are not familiar with their surroundings it only takes a minute or two to get lost.

It's so easy for kids to get separated from their parents. They are so curious and adventurous. Thank goodness they weren't out in the forest too long.
