Starry Night

It's been stormy here and last night, the clouds moved out and I took a few night shots with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. iPhones are fast becoming just as good as an expensive camera.
This photo was taken at 7:56pm, already night. The light on the right is a house that sits on the other side of the Willapa River - you can just see it below the lights.
Clouds came back in and we had a lot of rain and wind. It's still pretty gloomy and muddy out there.
No house yet. I'm beginning to wonder if it will ever arrive.

Nice shot you could almost make that into a postcard.

What a beautiful expanse of nighttime sky. At least the clouds gave you some time to enjoy the stars.

@noni1959 .......So nice to have the expanse of clearing to see. We have too many trees and live right in the city so we can't see much.

It's been crazy! My son talked to them today and they will arrive Wednesday. He said they had to get all the heavy equipment operators to arrive the same time and the drivers and install team. They told him for us not to plan on going anywhere or we won't get back in for a bit.
