It seems as though Instacart delivers here now. That is wonderful to know. It has been a problem going going to the grocery and I have had to rely on friend. If you forget something you are out of luck. But I will definitely take advantage of a delivery. I am hoping to have the car back next week, but it all depends on how soon the guy can get it done..but if I take it in Sunday night or Monday. He should have several days to work on it..so no reason it shouldnt be. In the meantime there is Instacart.

We have a delivery service of the grocery here, but it costs $ 5, unless you buy for at least 150 dollars.

5 bucks is pretty minimal though. It would cost me almost that much in gas to go there and back. I know signing up as a new user you get a bunch of benefits. I may go ahead and download the app today.

@snowy22315 - I think it's so much better both for me and my husband not to need to move heavy stuff.

I have a Dash Pass to Doordash. A burn on my face at 4am? Doordash brought me aloe! It really comes in handy when circumstances keep you from being able to get something yourself. I have never tried InstaCart, but I love their commercials.

I wish they would get Doordash around here. That would be nifty. How did you get a burn on your face at 4AM? I have aloe here..when you live in the boonies, you keep adequate first aid supplies. There is not even an urgi care in this community, although a couple of medical facilities here allow walk ins M-F, but as we know it seems like alot of the time things happen on a weekend, like the spider bite I got once.

I gave up on Instacart delivery when they even started charging me for the delivery person's gas. With Walmart I deal directly with the store,

Just now
I don't have that option sadly, but I don't expect to make it a way of life.

Go you. Delivery to your front door is a fantastic option. I use Doordash every so often even though the bill goes up at least 20 dollars more than if I'd gone myself. Hubby said to me the other day he would rather pay the high bill than me having a coughing fit while I was driving.

I've never tried Instacart. What do they deliver? Food? Groceries? Other stuff? How much is the delivery fee?

Groceries, and I don't know what else. I haven't used them before. I suppose anything a g. store sells. Except I doubt they can deliver alchoholic beverages, but maybe they can. I checked , they can..yay.

Yeah, on both aspects. I won't be using instacart much but it will come in handy for something like this.

I've never used Instacart but it is a convenience when you need delivery. I use Walmart mostly for home delivery when I need stuff
