Wednesday Coffee Talk

Happy Wednesday Everyone! the sun is playing peek a boo this morning but overall it's supposed to be a nice sunny, fall day. Temperatures are chilly so I have long sleeves on but don't need a sweater quite yet. Sadly, it's too cold to have my coffee outside 
Thankfully I got a good nights sleep so I have the energy today to do all the things I didn't get around to doing yesterday. Once I get the boring stuff done, I can enjoy my reading and crocheting time.
I picked my latest book to read...Camino Ghosts by John Grisham. It's the 3rd book in his Camino series and it looks interesting. I'm also 3/4 done with the black scarf I'm making for a customer and if luck holds out, I can finish it today and get it in the mail tomorrow.
I got my drivers license renewal in the mail yesterday (ugh). I can't believe that 4 years has passed already and now it's time to renew again. At least I can do the renewal online and only have to go to the DMV for my picture once my renewal is processed. It's still a huge pain in the butt to have to deal with anything regarding the DMV.
Other good news mail I got yesterday...my cable bill went up, the doctor I went to for my knees left so now I'll have to see someone else when it comes time for my appointment and the prescription part of my Medicare is changing and the monthly cost is going up considerably. My only choice there is to see if I can find another one that is cheaper. It's always something.
Anyway, life goes on and it's just some bumps in the road.

Yes, it's always something. Today is the appointment with my PCP for my Wellness Exam.

@Marilynda1225 She's giving me a new med to slow down my heart rate. My husband used to take it for his AFIB.

Our DMV isn't the easiest place to find a parking space but once inside they do have enough seating. I just dread the whole thing.

@JudyEv guess parking is an issue no matter where you live. Maybe they want to aggravate everyone before they have to deal with all the inside work

@Marilynda1225 It was a good lunch, fried catfish with potato salad, green beans, hush puppies, and the best sweet tea. We stopped at a local peanut place and bought some delicious chocolate covered peanut brittle.

I can’t believe the cost of everything, and I know people always say that, but it’s so true.
I’ve already made a phone call to a doctor who is taking forever to call in a prescription. Next up is the post office, and stopping by my dad’s to pick up some things.
