I woke hearing activity on the property and looked out seeing the bulldozer pushing areas around near the foundation. It wasn't long after, the first part of the house made it's way up.
They had to have left yesterday and sat somewhere close, since they can't drive at night. The DOT route they took was over 10 hours.
They are still out there putting it together, and it's 3:30pm. This is just the delivery and set up crew. We still have all the other stuff to do like septic, water, electric....
But, it's finally happening!! We can see the light!

I am so glad it's arrived, now you and your son can try to get the house ready to move into soon, hopefully before it gets really cold outside. I know you both must be so excited to have it there at last!

We still have a lot to do and they still have to finish the set up, put in the carpet, etc. but it's so exciting. Also have to wait for the power company to put in the transformer, they dig ditches from the top of the hill down for water and bottom of the drive up for electric. Also building a small bridge. The septic has to come in too. They said it will go fast after the house is finished. I hope so!

I hope so, too. I imagine once you have the power and water hooked up things will go a lot faster, too.

@MarieCoyle I hope so. They didn't work on it today. I'm not sure how they do all of this but was told usually takes about three weeks once the house is here. It's getting a lot colder so hope not too much longer.

@sallypup This was my trailer at the RV park in Prosser, WA (eastern), the winter of 2023. It snowed a lot that winter. Here, we'll get a bit of snow on the property even if town doesn't but will be much better. We have some sprinkles now and looks to be around 35 tonight. We can't go by the apps on the property. I have a thermometer outside.
