This month here in the UK is apparently UNBLOCK TOBER ….
And what does that mean …..
So many people are putting lots of things down the toilet that they shouldn’t be !
We all know what SHOULD be going down there …..
Things that have been blocking our drains are …..
Children’s toys
Hats
Wet wipes
Fats
Umbrellas
Rugby balls
I’m not even sure how you would get done if these things down the toilet !!!
Do you have problems with blocked drains ?

I was telling Mom about it and she says they probably lift the drain covers in the streets and dump stuff .

Oh yes, they didn’t find any of those, but yes, that’s a common thing to flush isn’t it ! Sadly !

We get warned about flushing medicine down the toilet, but that’s nationally. Locally, my apartment complex, because of old plumbing, begs us not to throw wet wipes and tampons down the toilet. Occasionally, a kid will throw something crazy down the toilet, and I’ll wonder why the parent didn’t child proof the toilet.

No problems so far, thankfully. But the drains don't just take water fro toilets and kitchen sinks, they also take effluent from roadside drains and that kind of thing where people think it's a good idea to pour away used engine oil, unwanted paint and goodness known what else.

I have to use draino once a month cause my shower drain gets clogged with my wife and twin daughters hair etc

The only thing I put in the toilet is a sort of wet toailet paper . You can use up to 2 wipes each time.

Nope no problems here, I once knew a person whose toilet backed up and a small alligator floated out and was still alive.

@traceyjayne Last month roots from a tree caused a blockage in my facility. I am unimpressed, especially since they will continue to grow. I just hope they don't come up the pot and tickle whoever is sitting there. But really it should be quite obvious that rugby balls are inappropriate toilet fodder.

Occasionally I will block the toilet. It gets very expensive to repair. No wet wipes go down our toilet though. Also no umbrellas or rugby balls. lololol
