If you’re just jumping on this list, I’ll explain the scenario. A few months ago, @rebelann made a joke about the songs I was posting making her rock so hard her chairs were breaking. So, last month, in her honor, I did a list of slower songs. Well, you can only have so many of those before you need to rock out again. By request from her, here’s today’s song. Up Around the Bend - Creedence Clearwater Revival See ya tomorrow. You know that guitar intro. You know the joy of listening to this song. It takes you “up around the bend” to a place where music sweeps all the problems away (“leave the sinking ship behind”). So “bring a song and a smile for the banjo” and rock on out to one of the best bands in rock and roll history. By the way, John Fogerty recently re-recorded this for his Legacy album. That old guy (he’s 80 now) can still rock it! Up Around the Bend Written by John C. Fogerty Recorded by Creedence Clearwater Revival From Cosmo’s Factory, 1970 You can ponder perpetual motion:

I have always loved listening to this song in the car. CCR is a great band overall for road trip music.

There's one thing I always think about when I think of John Fogerty. He was the worst stealer of music in the entire business. He was even sued for it. Every single song John Fogerty ever wrote he clearly stole from John Fogerty. What a tool.

Whew, that was a good one .... as if any CCR wouldn't be .... Roscoe was inside this time and he had a blast with me dancing, dang girl you've got me rockin and I ain't busted a bun ...... yet. Oh Roscoe says Thanks for gettin my hoomin off her butt. And Tuffy is still really scared of me when I dance, he's never seen me do that before and thinks his hoomin is nuts but hopefully Roscoe will splain it to him. Thanks again for mentioning me,
