Steve Farrington who is employed by the Department of Transportation (DOT) was clearing fallen trees when Hurricane Helene hit the North Folk area which caused a woman driver was trapped in rising water.
Steve took action to rescue the woman who was stuck in her car during the flood waters. Steve opened the door of the auto that was on the road that was flooded. Even though he was almost swept by the flood water, Steve was able to get the woman out of the auto and take her to the hill and away from danger.
The woman that Steve saved has not been seen since even though Steve believes that she is alive and well.

I am sure that the woman will or did thank Steve for saving her in the flood waters.

Stories like this are like a horror movie to me. I have such a fear of water that hearing of this woman's situation is awful. So glad Steve was around and willing to help her.

I guess the woman was saved but her car would have been washed away and ruined by such a flood. Steve did well to rescue her.
