Hey hey ….physio day ….it went so well….im on the mend !

So today was my first physio session.
Yes, I was a bit nervous….not sure how it was going to be, but I needn’t have worried.
The physio ….Paul….was a lovely guy and very easy to talk to. Explained lots of things….why I can’t move certain parts without pain, and what we need to work on to make everything strong and work properly again.
He has given me some exercises to do at home ….at least three times a day …. ( for both my arm and hand …..and also my shoulder, as that too is very stiff as I had it strapped up and was unable to move it for so long ).
I have to go back in two weeks time. ( 5th November ).

I'm glad your physio went well today and Paul explained things to you that you need to know/think about. I'm sure your joints will loosen up and you'll be moving easily without pain very soon.

@Traceyjayne I understand. Any type of confinement is annoying and when it affects most things you do, it can really be detrimental to your mental health.

I thought so too but I feel I can trust this guy so I’m happy to follow what he says …..

Good, It won't be long and you will be as good as new. I absolutely dread something like that happening to me. It would make this car thing look like a cake walk

@traceyjayne Excellent result. I know lots of people who don't do what the physio tells them and suffer as a consequence, so behave yourself and do exactly what Paul says.

He made the exercises seem like fun in a way ….so it will be an incentive to do them.
