I Wonder What Happened

Housing was supposed to be back on September 22nd to do some minor repairs before the HUD inspection and the one the landlord does. We had some things to add to their list. Well, it's been a month and no maintenance, no note or call explaining and we have 4 things to add to the list. We have had issue with electrical, and A/C hook up downstairs for a while(months). They supposed fixed that and now we can't get heat downstairs. It's been dipping down into the 40s in the mornings here now and my daughter sleeps downstairs much of the time.
We heard nothing from them. We are also waiting to see what the rent will change to for the next year too. Should be hearing about that shortly cause the new amount will be expected in December. Seems like all of BCACHA (housing) has disappeared. No repair people around or the weird little guy in his shorts and Safari hat that is the big honcho in the Maintenance Department now has not been seen dashing through the neighborhood. Weird.
It's no use trying to get ahold of anyone either. They no longer answer. They used to let us know who our representative is. Not so anymore. All you can do is leave a message and then they show up within the month if you're lucky. It's like after Armageddon and no one is in the offices or on the streets. Like some grade B science fiction movie. I keep waiting for them to send a memo saying Section 8 no longer exists and we have to be out of here in 30 days.
Things sure have changed. Will the big wigs come for an inspection? Will they ever get the electrical figured out? Will we ever hear from anyone?

Our landlady hasn't contacted us about her inspection yet this year, either. That usually happens in August but we haven't seen or heard from her.
We had the Section 8 inspection after the construction guys were finished in August or September but that's it.

We usually have our first inspection in May. That didn't happen because of the vinyl being done upstairs. I know they are busy but it's rather rude.

@celticeagle We were having construction work done when the landlady should have done her inspection. She hasn't been here to look at any of the new work yet.
I agree, that is rude of them.

It would be nice. What a way to run a business. Set appointments and then don't show up.

Things seem very up in the air there. I do hope nothing awful happens but it would have to be a bit of a worry.
