I have been seeing this Amazon commercial where a girl, I am assuming from college to her father's home. She walk's into a room where the door is closed, she didn't knock!
Her father is running on a treadmill wearing a T shirt and old shorts that didn't fit too well. She starts thinking that he shouldn't be wearing those shorts and she should get him some new ones.
Huh? The man was in the privacy in his own home, in a room behind a closed door. He can wear what he wants or even doesn't want. What if that girl had opened the door and saw her father naked?

I totally agree with you. Commercials seem to have to be absurd and stupid to the inth degree for some people to catch on, I guess. Or this is what these companies seem to feel. It's insulting sometimes.

@dfollin .......About the only one I really like is that insurance one with the character who causes havoc. He's pretty fun.
