We Are Having My Favorite For Dinner Tonight

I woke up this morning with the scent of cooking beans downstairs. My daughter is cooking pinto beans for dinner. Some cornbread on the side as well she said. This is one of my favorite meals. I can remember my grandmother fixing it sometimes. My grandfather always mashed his beans and put sugar on them. I don't do that. I always thought it was rathe different. What is your favorite fall or winter meal?

My father used to put cream and sugar on shredded lettuce. That was a bit different too.

Sounds almost like a coleslaw, but if course that uses cabbage.

When it gets cold outside I fix a lot of spaghetti and chili and have garlic bread with it.

Oh, I'm not sure I have a favorite meal. I like chicken, with peanut butter. And when fall and winter come, I like to make hot chocolate.

I LOVE beans and cornbread; but I can no longer have beans. I can eat any kind of meal all year around. Chili is always a good fall/winter meal. I used to love it with LOTS of beans.

I love lentils, my Aunt would grind/mash them and make a soup of it...
