She never tells me what she wants

So sis's birthday is coming up and also Christmas of course, and she dutifully asks me what I want for my November bday and Christmas and I tell her. I have asked her twice and she never tells me anything. Last year I got her an Advent calendar which was in puzzle form and it was beautiful. I gave them a solar lawn or ament for Christmas..sadly, it was quite a bit smaller than I thought and looked more like a kitten. She seemed to like the Amazon gift card I got her one year..I guess I will go with that. I remember she got an escape ladder in case of fire as they have second floor bedrooms. Anybody have an idea for the people who have everything? One year I got sis, mom and myself matching cat shirts. Maybe it will be a gift card Christmas...My mom is hard to buy for too Gift ideas?

It sounds like your Sis has gardens? This might sound silly or weird to you but buying her flower seeds or bulbs like tulip bulbs could be lovely. I just bought a garden apron for my gardening buddy. The Apron has tons of pockets so Buddy doesn't have to carry around a tubby of tools like sheers and such.

They don't really have a garden .but maybe she will get into it once she retired in March. That is a good idea. really Thanks! The only thing is tulip bulbs are usually planted in the fall aren't they? The ground will be too hard in the winter

@sallypup She doesn't, and it isn't. Good ideas honestly. but that is kind of an individual preference really I think. I could include a receipt though if they wanted to exchange it. Good ideas though honestly. One year I got my bro in law a personalized mug and he drinks out of it everyday and even takes it on trips

@snowy22315 Agreed about the tulips. You can also put them in a pot in the house for 'forced' blooms. You've seen the paper white bloomig flowers at Christmas time? Does she have a welcome sign?? Or is that too cutesy for her?

It's hard to buy gifts for people who have everything. I think some gift cards are the best solution or simply money so they can buy what they want themselves.

Money is always appreciated for sure, but they don't really need it, and it seems kind of impersonal to me

@snowy22315 Yes, you're right. Have you thought about making a cake or some of your favorite cookies?

I’m going pretty simple this year, spending less than ever before. I don’t think I have any suitable suggestions.

Maybe some kind of smell goods or something edible. I have one sis that is hard to buy for and another that is super easy. Good luck.

I may get something like that for a stocking present. One year I did get here one of those wicker candles you suggested that are like a fire burning. I loved it, but she isn't much of a candle person I have been seeing this humming bird ornament tree which would be right up her alley, but she so much of that kind of stuff already

Scratch off lottery tickets can be fun. And with how expensive things are getting a can of her favorite coffee or something like that could be a great gift

I am no good at buying gifts usually, but last year I got my brother a bird feeder that suctions on to the window. He loves it and keeps it filled and is very entertained by the birds and the squirrels.

I am tending more and more towards gift cards. We don't buy for many but everyone seems to have just about everything they want so unless something hits me I just go with gift cards.
