Well, I've forgotten the gravy !!!

I brought some beef mince ( ground beef ) with me to the caravan....the idea being to make a pan of mince and onion. I looked in the cupboard earlier and I must have taken the gravy granules home at the end of last season and not replaced them. I haven't been here often enough to have noticed before. So question is .... Do I walk to the shop and buy some at a stupidly high price ....or ...do I make burgers instead ?

@traceyjayne I forgot to get onions this morning. I’m just doing without.

I have to stock the motor-home today. I have a checklist now which helps a bit.

Yeah. I'd just go with the burgers. Granted, on "vacation" I am on a less stringent budget, but still, no need to spend money needlessly just because when there is a suitable alternative.

I definitely choose burgers rather than spending the extra money.

No gravy? Mix a little cornflour with cold water, whisk it into the pan juices, and simmer 1–2 minutes. Not fancy, but it clings to potatoes. But if no cornflour, bring on the burgers!
