I went to a band mate's performance yesterday.

They call themselves Midnight Acoustic, I think. Both John (guitar and vocals) and Jack (guitar and vocals) are in it. They are in the band, Hair of the Dawg, that I am in. We'll prctice today. The band actually sounded great. They did a bunch of rock 'n roll tunes that old folks like me could groove to. They concluded with three Grateful Dead tunes.. A highlight for me was I saw Jack's wife there. She came over to say hi with Daily, their 1 1/2-year-old Pit Bull, in tow. Daisy recognized me and jumped up on me, giving me my usual tongue bath. This afternoon, Jack, John, and I will get together and work on tunes for our "Christmas Concert" at the Quilter's Guild in December. We have labeled it the "Hell's Grannies" gig, I'll attach Monty Python's Hell's Grannies sketch from the 1970s.It's a good one. How is your Monday shaping up?

My Monday was ok. I was worried about a package that Amazon said was arriving yesterday, but Amazon also said it hadn't be shipped out yet. Then late yesterday afternoon, they said it was shipped out. So I am getting that package on Wednesday. I also got groceries and worked on my best friend's diamond painting. I also made plans with my best friend to get our ears pierced again on Saturday.
