We have an election coming up next week. Since I am working on the election day I had to vote early, so did that while I was in town. I asked when I was in the polling location, and they said 5,000 people have voted already. I am not sure what the voting population is of this county...but that sounds like at least a quarter of them. This county has a fairly small population. Good, that will mean the polls will not be that busy on election day.

@snowy22315 I started back in 2016 because it had gotten difficult for me to stand in line with my back. I’d even do early voting, but somehow I always ended up being in a long line of people. My dad suggested absentee.

@AmbiePam Things rarely get crowded out here, but sometimes it's steady.

Not that close, but I was in town anyway. I had some errands to do.

@snowy22315 - At least you did not need to go there only to vote.

I was in town, and the elections office was right there. I didn't have to go out of my way.

@snowy22315 That's great. My state has done well with mail in votes for years.
