NYPD rescue a dog trapped underneath subway tracks

New York Police Department (NYPD) officers answered an emergency call on Thursday October 23 when a small dog named Moose managed to get away from his handlers who had him on a leash inside of a subway station. Moose is a very lucky dog to be alive since the 2-train going northbound hit the dog who then fell underneath the train tracks. NYPD Special Ops Emergency Services Unit officer used a ladder to climb down the tracks, use a flashlight to locate Moose and lift him up from underneath the tracks and hand him to the other officers who were on the subway platform. Now how could a dog get under a train? I would enquire about how Moose got in thise situation before handing him over to the owners,

I am sure that the dog fell down underneath the train tracks since there may have been a platform underneath the train tracks.
