Yes, it is definitely Winter time here now.
The fire was on most of yesterday and last evening.
Today is not quite so cold but I am feeling it as I don't want to put the fire on just yet.
So, I have had hard boiled egg chopped with mayo on a brown bap for lunch ...then had a sweet and sour hot soup.
I'm feeling warmer now
What's your go to good when it's cold out ?

I love soups, stews and casseroles when it's cold outside.

Pretty starts cooking foods I'll eat when it starts getting colder/chilly here. She makes soups and stews a lot more often.
I made a batch of Cheddar cheese, broccoli soup and added browned hamburger and sausage to the soup yesterday morning. Pretty made a batch of Korean beef with baked veggies for supper last night. Both were really good.

I do like soup on cold days.
it's rainy, cold and nasty here today so I'm making chili so that should warm up my old bones

Cousin #3 took most of my soup because it's so high in sodium. I have one can left. I love a can of bean (which I can't have) soup with Ramen noodles added in.

I have heard of these ramen noodles but never tried them.

@Traceyjayne I add them to the soup; but I don't use the seasoning packet as it's full of sodium.

Nothing beats a hot bowl on a chilly day. Mine was chicken and mushroom with extra thyme. Did the trick.
