Halloween ranks up there with the day before Christmas break and the last few days of school. We will have inappropriate costumes, students hopped up on sugar, and general just craziness. I'm not even going to attempt to lecture. The kids can work independently on an assignment. There is a staff bake sale so some of the teachers will be hopped up on sugar too. Not me. I'm not big into sweets though I do like to make them. It will be a wild day and I'll be happy to race out the door as soon as the bell rings. It is funny b/c contractually we have to stay 10 minutes after the bell. I dip as soon as I get back to the other classroom, dump my water, plug in my Chromebook to charge, and grab my stuff. Takes 2 minutes. By the time I get to my car half of our little lot is already empty. No one stays unless they have to! hahahaha
