Senior moment #9,121 for The Horse. Do you remember when "selfies" were a thing?

As you know, as a rule, I do not take selfies. They were a "thing" maybe 10 or 15 years ago. Perfectly good photos of the Eiffel Tower or the pyramids at Giza ruined by a bunch of wahoos blocking the view. But I had to take a selfie of my new t-shirt. G-sus Saves. Admit it. That is hilarious. As most of us know, a sus 4 chord is generally a major chord with a "4 note" thrown in to create tension. It usually "resolves" to regular major chord. Think "Amen." This morning, as I was staring into my mirror while getting dressed, I noticed that the my G-sus t-shirt did not look right. The G-sus chord was not a G-sus at all. It was reminiscent of what I call the "Hendrix chord," which simultaneously contains a major and minor third. Would I have to return my shirt? Was I simply going nutso? Fortunately, I had an insight while sitting a stop light, wondering why green lights always turn red as I approach them. I had been looking into into a mirror. Therefore, the strings on the guitar on my t-shirt were reversed. I "re-calculated." My sus 4 was sus 4 after all. Do I get credit for a Senior Moment here?

As long as cameras exist, selfies will always be a "thing". I'm glad you figured out your slight mistake with the new shirt.

Have you ever taken a "selfie"? I find them vulgar.

@TheHorse I think you get more out of it than I do! You can always just get your own design printed, it's easy these days.

You did not have a wrong suspended chord. You had an electric guitar that had become disconnected from its amp. As for selfies, didn't those start with the Instamatics?

I can't remember that far back. Actually, I remember the little flashbulbs that would rotate after you took a photo.

@TheHorse Yeah. I had a couple of cameras that used that. I think one of my 110s even did. But those were LONG before the Instamatics. I remember having a Polaroid Instamatic with a long flash bar.

Do you believe that many people will notice that the G-sus chord is not a G-sus chord at all? Keep the t-shirt.
