Hello everyone. It is 37 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 61. I woke up earlier than normal according to the clock thanks to daylight savings time. Hey I always love to "fall back". Whatever. I just got up and went with it. I'll go back to bed later. It is Sunday so no big plans for the day. Fine with me! I'll meal prep for the week and finish the laundry. Nothing exciting to report. What's everyone else up to today?

I guess it’s football today for me, with a possible trip to the pharmacy. Right now, my head is really hurting so I’m just praying that goes away. Hope you get a good nap today. I’m sure you could use it.

I am doing the best I can to enjoy your day working at home sharing news stories and completing surveys under a clear evening with the temperature at 64 degrees F.

Hi there. I've been waking up perhaps too early for you all. I woke up at 1 am and sometimes 2 am, simply because I have a 3-month grandson. You know babies have more sleepless hours during the night. It's been tiring days lately but i enjoyed it.

Good morning. It is 30F in my part of Missouri this morning. We had fog earlier in the night and now we have frost on the grass and the car windows are glazed with ice. I changed the two clocks that didn't change by themselves and I've been playing with the thermostat in the living room trying to figure out what temp we need to be comfortable since all the construction work this summer. Apparently, setting the temp in the living room for 65F keeps our bedrooms at 72F now. That's a perfect temp to us! We did shut off the ceiling fan in the bathroom that the construction crew said we'd need to leave on to draw air into the house. They were wrong. They left enough leaks around various windows in the house that we don't need the bathroom fan on unless we want it on. I already cooked breakfast, took my morning meds and am thinking about going to sleep for the day. I hope you enjoy your Sunday.

One thing I want to do is get the envelopes addressed and get my books ready to ship. I'm sending out 6 copies; and cousin #2 will take them to the post office. Other than that, I have no plans.

It got really cold last night, 28 here. But this week we are actually going to see two days that hit 60--maybe. It's mostly the nights that are cold right now, unless the incessant wind kicks in. My son in law and daughter's garden didn't freeze hard last week like mine did, although I did pick all of my remaining tomatoes and cukes before the freeze. Friday night they told me to take anything I wanted from theirs, as they have canned and frozen until they are out of room. So I came home with a ton of tomatoes and green and red bell peppers. Some of the tomatoes are green, but they will ripen. Some I will work on today and they are going in the freezer to use later. Today I will clean and chop up some of the peppers, and freeze them as well. I have tiny verigated tomatoes, pear tomatoes, yellow ones, slicers. I did some of them last night but I am not letting these go to waste. So that, and taking care of son's needs, etc., is on the agenda for today. Spring up or fall back, it doesn't really matter. It's nearly winter, and it does get darker sooner anyway, as the days are shorter. Just part of the cycle of it all, and I am used to it.
