What Do You Add to a Basic Shop-Bought Pasta Sauce? / myLot

I always add extra chopped garlic. I pretty much double it for pasta (or curry) and let it sizzle first so the sauce tastes like I actually cooked.

I add chopped onions and mushrooms and oregano.

The only thing I use pre-made pasta sauces for are things like lasagna. And I leave them as-is. Otherwise, I make my own.

I tend to add oregano, but it used to be garlic.

I never buy basic pasta sauce. The only "ready" sauce I buy is plain tomato sauce, that I had to make different kind of pasta sauces.
